Members of parliament please protect our rights to choose where and how to live!
We the people are calling on you to recognise the encroachment of basic rights of the people in quake-affected Canterbury.

We are demanding Parliament to do the right thing and act in the best interest of the people affected. The zoning and buyout offers in the aftermath of the Canterbury quakes are creating huge worry and stress for thousands of homeowners. No matter how well-intended the current government policies may be, they are not working!

There is a real danger of setting a precedent for eroding basic rights of all New Zealanders when the times get tough or when natural disaster strikes.

We are asking you to do what we elected you to do- to represent us, the people.

STOP government bulldozing ahead with a policy that will hurt thousands of families in the time of our nation's greatest natural disaster and PROTECT OUR FREEDOM!
